Can you take a voluntary reduction in the Army as an officer?

I'm in the Army and currently deployed...I know of a 1SG in another company who is taking a voluntary reduction to SGT (E5) in order to do another tour in Afghanistan as a rifleman...as an officer, can I do the same thing? I am a CPT and it piqued my interest to think that maybe I could be a 2LT again and work in another branch perhaps...anyone know if that's possible?
