Raising sponsorship money?

I am trying to raise money for a organization to feed hunger children, but i have no idea how to do this i only have about a week left...i just moved so i don't know anyone and my church isn't really the biggest richest church around...and i was going to go door to door but like i said i don't know any of them and i dont really know what to say to them...i don't really have time to send out letters so what should i do?
