What kind of degree for for nanomachies?

I have all my general education reqs out of the way and I will be applying as a transfer student to the university of louisville. I am very interested in nanotechnology, and physics in general. I'm good at math, so it's all good. I want to do get into reasearch. I hope one day to work with nano machines, what is the degree that would be most relevant to this? Thanks guys.
