Edgar Allan Poe tone and voice?

I ume his voice would be solemn and low. It would be the voice of a highly educated man. I think when he read his poetry his energy and enthusiasm would be evident. I believe he would have greeted the audience with an eloquent speech and maybe recite some of his poetry or stories.
