Who agrees that we should increase taxes on foreign goods, specifically China?

By increasing taxes on foreign goods we will create the need for domestic manufacturing. The top 1% of the nations elites own 87% of the nations wealth will then begin to invest in domestic manufacturing. This will create more domestic jobs, increase our nations productivity, and possibly increase exports. If we anger China, so what? They lack the Navy and Airforce to pull off an offensive against the United States. China Also lacks major allies, We have Europe, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and not to mention the most advanced military in the world. However, if we wait to too long China will eventually expand its military to a point where they are the leaders of the world in every aspect. As patriots of the United States we can't just sit back and let our country slip into the shadows we have to act in order to maintain world economic dominance. My question is, who agrees/disagrees with me and why or why not?
