Where can I find a cheap last minute holiday to Rhodes Town or Lindos?

Me and a friend want to go to Rhodes for a week in September, from about the tenth. We're on a tight budget. Can anyone recommend a basic but reasonably decent hotel or apartment (we want a room each) in Rhodes old town or Lindos? Also, which is the best budget airline to use, flying from Bristol, Manchester or Heathrow? Alternatively a good package deal could work out cheaper, if there is any particular company you can recommend. I've browsed a little, but I'm struggling to find anything particularly cheap.
