Cat has a toothache?

I took my cat to the vet a couple of moths ago and she said he needed to have a tooth pulled. I don't exactly have extra funds right now so we havent gotten it done. But now I think his tooth is bugging him tonight cause he is hiding under the bed and moewing like crazy. I have done all the typical things to see what is wrong and that the only thing I can come up with is a toothache (he wont let me near his mouth). Any suggestions on how to help my cat from the pain of a toothache?
